The Ultimate Guide to an At-Home Spa Day

Step 1 Prep-
Before having a spa day/night I always like to have a clean house, or at least bedroom. It's much easier to relax when everything is clean and neat. Also, if  I can, I like to get any homework or chores done before starting my spa day. Once this is done, I prepare everything I need.

Step 2 Set the Mood-

Here are some things you can do to help you relax

  • Dim the lights
  • Light candles
  • Turn on a Himalayan salt lamp (learn about them here)
  • Turn on an essential  oil diffuser
  • Slip into a robe and slippers and tie up your hair comfortably
  • Play some relaxing music, you can find some for free on Youtube or Spotify
  • Throw your towels in the dryer so they're warm and fluffy
  • Silence your phone
 Step 3 Snacks and Drinks-

Snacks: I recommend fresh veggies, fruits, cheese w/ crackers and chocolates
Drinks: Tea, hot or iced, is not only delicious but great for your body. Iced water is a must, especially when you're in a hot bath. Infused water is also great!
